Refreshing Brand Identity (whilst with Fresh Creative)
During my internship at Fresh Creative, I was tasked to rebrand the logo and signage for Leather & Trading's Bungendore branch. The tools used in the projects were Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Challenge
To create a cohesive rebrand that can be adapted for the brand's signage and web content.

Old Signage and Logo Design

Result

One of the signage results

The design of the lizard and font was already provided and I was tasked with creating the rest of the logo. The line added below the crescent is to separate the lizard graphic and the text. Re-adjustments were made after receiving feedback from the creative director.
For this project, I worked on several of the signages such as A-Frames, the front store signage and promotional signages. Here, I was required to create and prepare them for printing.

Using photoshop, I used an existing image from Leather & Trading and updated the signage with the rebranded version. The task also required that I produced a mock-up for the client. Here, I created a soft glow to mimic the light reflecting from the outside lamp onto the sign. This also created a focal point for the image.

Here are some images of the signages being implemented. I received positive response from both the creative director and client.
Takeaways
This was the first large size project where I was required to work on several deliverables. It was a good experience where I was able to demonstrate and develop my skills on logo, signage design and photo editing.
